Paramahansa Yogananda formally opened the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple in Hollywood on August 30, 1942. In the years since then, this pioneering temple has played an inspiring role in Paramahansa Yogananda’s historic mission of introducing Yoga in the West, and today is known as a place of sacred pilgrimage by countless truth-seekers from all parts of the world.

Family Meditation & Potlock

We are pleased to announce the first in a series of family meditation and potluck dinner events here at Holywood Temple for 2006. The event will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 5 to 7pm. All families and friends are welcome.
Senior Devotee Group

Seniors 75 and older are welcome to join our monthly Senior Devotee Group meeting on Saturday, May 15th at 1:30 PM in India Hall. Come join us for an afternoon of fellowship and fun. If you have any questions or need assistance in getting to the meeting please contact the Temple at 323-661-8006.
Satsanga

Join us in the satsanga (question and answers) and beginner's meditation class on Thursday, February 16th at 8:00 PM. You may have your questions answered by our minister at one of these satsangas by submitting them online. Anyone wishing to learn how to meditate is welcome to attend the once-a-month beginner's meditation class conducted by our minister immediately after the Satsanga service.
